Come home to your senses
Discover the profound benefits of slowing down and reconnecting with the land
What is forest therapy?
Forest Therapy ("Shinrin Yoku" in Japanese) was born in Japan in the 80s to fight the rise in stress and illness among a rapidly urbanizing population.
Studies done since have shown all the ways in which Forest Therapy can radically support physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Today it is practiced across the world; Japan alone has over 70 dedicated Forest Therapy trails!

What to Expect
Forest Therapy is a relaxed way of being with the forest that encourages you to slow down, get out of your thinking head and into your sensing body.A series of gentle and flexible invitations will help you explore and interact with the land in new ways.
Forest Therapy walks are slow paced and not goal oriented hikes; they can last between one and three hours, but we don't cover more than one km.
No previous experience is necessary.
Disclaimer: Giulia is not a therapist, nor is Forest Therapy group therapy. The forest is the therapist, the guide opens the door.

Why work with me?
I am a certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), the oldest organization in North America of the kind.
I design my programs in such a way that everyone can feel supported and welcome!
When I am not in the woods you can find me painting in my studio or having fun with my sweet baby, Orson.
